Barbara Sullivan is a New York City based painter and fine art photographer.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design, her work has been exhibited in Hamburg, Berlin and
New York City and utilized in music, film, and theater.
"In my work I am most interested in using the process of photography or physicality of paint to create a personal story that lives in a psychological and emotional space. Whether within the framework of portraiture or landscape, I seek out subjects and moments which convey this tension between fragility, vulnerability and strength."
